At home

A collection of photographs made in my homeland, the Central Apennines of Italy.

This is where I developed my photographic language and where my love for nature first took root. These mountains, dense forests, and remote valleys are home to some of Italy's most elusive and iconic wildlife, including the Apennine wolf and the critically endangered Marsican brown bear. These mountains are also the kingdom of the Apennine chamois, a symbolic species that moves freely across the rugged terrain.

Appenines, are the backbone of Italy, are a place where wilderness still survives. A landscape that has shaped my way of seeing, taught me patience, and continues to offer endless opportunities to immerse myself in the quiet, untamed beauty of the Italian wilderness.
